The short version
The 8 Dominos app collects nothing. Everything you enter stays on your own phone. There is no account, no server, and no tracking of any kind. The website only holds what you type into the application form yourself.
This page covers two separate things: the 8 Dominos mobile app, and the 8dominos.com website. They work very differently, so they are kept apart below.
What the app collects
Nothing. The 8 Dominos app has no user accounts, no login, no servers and no analytics. We have no way to see what you enter, because it never reaches us.
What the app stores, and where
Your eight dominos, your daily completions, your mood check-ins, your journal notes and your streaks are saved locally on your own device. This information is never transmitted to us or to anyone else.
If you delete the app, that data is deleted with it. There is no copy anywhere else.
Notifications
The app can send you a daily reminder. These reminders are scheduled and generated entirely on your device. No notification service, push server or third party receives any information about you, and nothing about your habits is included in the reminder.
Sharing your day or your week
The app can create a summary image of your day or your week, which includes your own domino names and the activities you wrote for them. That image is only created when you ask for it, it is shown to you first, and it is shared only if you then choose to share it using your phone's standard share options.
The app never uploads it anywhere. Where it goes after you tap share is entirely your choice, and is covered by whichever app you send it to.
Third parties
The app contains no advertising, no analytics, no crash reporting, no tracking and no third-party data collection tools of any kind. It makes no network requests.
Children
The app does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Deleting your data
Open the app, go to Settings and tap Delete All Data. That clears everything from your device immediately and cannot be undone. Deleting the app itself has the same effect.
The application form
If you apply to work with Hassan, the form asks for your name, phone number and email address. You type those in yourself, and they are used for one purpose: to get back to you about your application. They are not sold, rented or shared with anyone for marketing.
Booking a call
Calls are booked through Calendly, a third-party scheduling service. If you book a call, the details you enter there are handled by Calendly under their own privacy policy, as well as by us so we can meet you at the agreed time.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not run advertising pixels or third-party analytics. The only cookies set are the standard ones WordPress and the booking widget need in order to work.
Your rights
Because the app holds no data of yours, there is nothing for us to look up, correct or delete on your behalf — it is all on your own phone, under your control. For anything you sent us through the website, email the address below and we will confirm what we hold, correct it, or delete it.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top of it.
